Bisnis.com, MATARAM—Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Nusa Tenggara Barat menginginkan kain tenun motif rangrang dibuatkan hak paten secara nasional oleh pemerintah pusat agar tidak diklaim negara lain.
Kepala Bidang Pengembangan Industri Kecil Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan NTB H Setya Budi mengatakan kain tenun motif rangrang ini masih diklaim secara individu, tapi perajinnya sudah menyebar di beberapa daerah, tidak hanya di Lombok dan Bali.

The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) provincial administration said on Thursday that it was planning to cooperate with the Zhejiang provincial administration in eastern China to develop NTB’s maritime and fisheries sector.
The head of the province’s investment coordinating agency, Ridwansyah, said the plan had been initiated during the recent visit of NTB Governor Muhammad Zainul Majdi to China.

KBR, Mataram - Nilai ekspor di provinsi NTB selama bulan Mei 2015 mengalami peningkatan signifikan yang mencapai 287 juta dolar lebih. Sementara pada bulan April lalu nilai ekspor hanya 2,9 juta dolar. Dengan peningkatan ekspor yang tinggi ini, rupanya ekspor bahan galian atau mineral tambang masih mendominasi dengan prosentase 99 persen lebih. Di NTB terdapat perusahaan tambang raksasa PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara.
