Indonesia Council Open Conference: Call for Panels and Papers

The ANU Indonesia Institute invites panel and paper proposals for the Indonesia Council Open Conference (ICOC), 19-21 November 2019. The ICOC is a large biennial conference featuring scholarly presentations and discussion of all aspects of Indonesia. The conference is a unique opportunity to present and discuss Indonesia-related research and we encourage both disciplinary and inter-disciplinary focus in panels.

Journalism Training Initiative - Call for Applications Reporting to Halt Deforestation

Eight journalists from around the world will get a unique chance to travel to Lima and the Peruvian Amazon to experience life in the rainforest, interact with commodity practitioners from all over the world, participate in technical sustainability workshops and dialogue, meet local community and indigenous leaders, access to UN and other experts and share skills as well as expertise with peers.

The Indonesia Project Research Travel Grant will assist students who plan to undertake research or are currently undertaking research for which they will benefit from travel to Indonesia.
The grant will be awarded to outstanding applicants who can demonstrate that travelling to Indonesia will contribute to their research on Indonesia.

Call for Papers: The 2nd International Conference on Global STS

The 2nd International Conference on Global STS (GlobalSTS 2.0) is a sequel to its first one held at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in March 2014. It was organized in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of NTU’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences. To follow up the success of the 2014 meeting, GlobalSTS 2.0 aims to extend the exchanges of scholarly works of STS researchers around the world that emphasize transnational dimensions of science, technology, and society.
