The Australia-Indonesia Institute (AII) invites applications for funding under the 2016-17 General Grants Program.

The objective of the Program is to provide seed funding for innovative programs and initiatives which strengthen people-to-people and institutional links with Indonesia and deepen mutual understanding and cooperation between Australia and Indonesia.

For the 2016-17 Grants Program the AII has identified the following priority areas:

•     Arts and Culture
•     Education
•     Technology and Innovation
•     Civil Society and Media
•     Religion and Society

Quality projects in areas not identified above that closely align with the objectives of the AII, will be considered.

Applications open at 9:00am AEDT, Monday 1 February 2016, and close 3:00pm AEDT, Monday 14 March 2016.

Applications should be completed on-line and submitted through Smarty Grants.
