Water Supply and Sanitation Policy Formulation and Action Planning (WASPOLA) Facility is a continuation of WASPOLA I and II facilitated by Water and Sanitation Program – The World Bank and funded by Australian Government, started in 1998 to build a new paradigm in sustainable water supply and sanitation development.
WASPOLA Facility supports technical assistance to the National, Local Government and partners to increase effectiveness of water supply and sanitation development, in line with the National Policy on Water Supply and Sanitation that has been implemented since 2003, also under WASPOLA support.
WASPOLA Facility has a goal to increase access to better and sustainable water supply and sanitation, especially for the poor, and also to contribute to economic growth, through capacity building for the government in directing the water supply and sanitation development.
