The project aims to increase productivity and competitiveness in Indonesia by building strategic linkages between polytechnic institutions and the
private sector, and by strengthening the capacity of selected polytechnic institutions to deliver high quality programs that respond to the needs of
employees in five key sectors: manufacturing, infrastructure, mining, agroindustry and tourism. It will increase the capacity of the public polytechnic
education system in Indonesia to respond to private sector needs; and increase the productivity of women, men, and youth trained at public
polytechnic institutes in five priority sectors when employed.
