Position overview
The ANU College of Asia and the Pacific (CAP) leads intellectual engagement with the Asia-Pacific region through research, teaching and contributions to public debate, and seeks to set the international standard for scholarship concerning the region.
The Crawford School of Public Policy is Australia’s premier public policy school, with recognised world-class expertise and experience in economics, political science, environmental management and development, and on key Asia-Pacific countries.
The Development Policy Centre (Devpolicy) conducts research and promotes discussion in three key areas: Australian aid effectiveness, the Pacific and Papua New Guinea, and global development policy. We are looking to hire people with substantive policy or research experience to work in two of our key areas of research: (i) Australian aid; and (ii) Pacific labour mobility.
The Research or Policy Fellow will engage in research, policy engagement, and public outreach (including blogging and events) in relation to either Australian aid or Pacific labour mobility. The role also contributes to management and administrative tasks as required.
This position is a continuing (contingent funded) appointment to 30 June 2021, with possibility of extending subject to funding availability.
