1. Tentang Pelatihan

Kemiskinan merupakan isu strategis yang perlu mendapat perhatian bersama dalam perumusan kebijakan. Sehubungan dengan itu, The SMERU Research Institute bekerja sama dengan Knowledge Sector Initiative (KSI) dan Lembaga Administrasi Negara (LAN) mengembangkan Modul Pelatihan Analisis Kebijakan Penanggulangan Kemiskinan bagi analis kebijakan, baik di sektor pemerintahan maupun nonpemerintahan.

Yayasan Nurani Luhur Masyarakat (YNLM) is a Non-profit organization which concern on community development based in Medan. YNLM has program operation in North Sumatera and Lombok, NTB and possibility to expand to other areas in Indonesia. YNLM has been working in Indonesia since 2005 post Tsunami Aceh. The work focus area of the project related on Women, Child welfare, Health, Livelihood and Disaster Management Response.

As the world’s largest archipelago nation in area and population, Indonesia is highly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. With 30% of the world’s mangroves (>3 million ha) and 22 million ha of peatlands, peat and mangrove ecosystems (PME) provide adaptation and resilience capacity for vulnerable communities, including coastal protection, flood control, water quality, and food security. However, PMEs are amongst Indonesia’s most threatened ecosystems including in the project pilot Provinces North Sumatera and West Papua.
