Provide targeted assistance in key technical areas that are required to scale up effective, integrated HIV/AIDS prevention that will lead to substantial and measurable behavior change among most-at-risk-population (MARP).
The targeted technical assistance includes case management, clinical services (including HIV testing, sexually transmitted infection diagnosis and treatment, TB/HIV prevention and treatment, and treatment adherence), condom use promotion, continuum of prevention to care, counseling, partner notification, quality assurance, quality control, reporting and recording systems, referral systems and services, risk assessment, risk reduction, stigma and discrimination and support groups.
The targeted technical assistance will be provided to government agencies, civil society organizations (non-governmental organizations/NGOs and Faith Based Organization/FBOs) working on strategic information efforts related to the HIV/AIDS response for MARP, including integrated bio-behavioral surveillance (IBBS) and monitoring and evaluation.
