The project aims to identify, implement, and showcase transparent and accountable practices in decentralized government operations in Sulawesi, with the aim of reducing opportunities for corruption. It assists local governments in Sulawesi in implementing transparent government administration practices in three areas: licensing and identification cards, performance incentives, and procurement. It also helps to strengthen the ability of the Corruption Eradication Commission of Indonesia (KPK) to play a catalytic role at the national level in encouraging local governments to reform. The project documents and disseminates successful transparent practices from Sulawesi with a view to replication nationwide.
