Provincial Program Officers, Community Legal Empowerment
Location: Kupang and Makassar
The Australia – Indonesia Partnership for Justice (AIPJ) is a five year program funded by Australian Goverment with a current closing date of December 2015. The strategic focus of AIPJ is on realizing the rights of all Indonesians, in particular poor women, vulnerable children and people with disabilities.
AIPJ is expanding its focus on grass-roots justice by implementing a new community legal empowerment program. The community legal empowerment program will work in partnership with AIPJ’s existing legal aid program with the aim of strengthening linkages between communities and legal aid organizations in order to improve the quality and quantity of justice services delivered at the local level. A particular focus of the program will be on encouraging the training of paralegals.
In order to provide both grant management and technical support to CSO partners, AIPJ is seeking Indonesian nationals for the position of Provincial Program Officer – Community Legal Empowerment. These are full-time positions based in Kupang and Makassar (one in each location) with significant provincial and some national travel required. Duties will include a mix of grant management and technical support, and candidates with skills and experience in one or both areas are encouraged to apply.
For further information about these positions, please refer to the Terms of Reference which can be accessed via http://aipj.or.id/en/opportunities.
The closing date for applications is 15 July 2015 at 5:00pm Jakarta Time.
