The Australia Indonesia Partnership for Decentralisation (AIPD) is a five-year program providing technical assistance and capacity building support to local governments and civil society to better manage public resources, leading to improved service delivery and reduced poverty.
The program is seeking qualified persons to fill the following vacant position: Senior Decentralisation Analyst (SDA)
This position is to provide technical support and research skills on AIPD policy work related to decentralisation.
This position will be remunerated in line with the Australian Aid’s Adviser Remuneration Framework. It is a Job Level 3, Group D position within that framework.
Qualifications for the positions:
- Advanced qualifications (PhD is preferred) in economics, public policy, public sector reform, public health, or other fields related to service delivery and sector governance.
- A minimum of 10-year of working experience in a a decentralised environment, particularly in Indonesia.
- Strong knowledge and technical skills in policies related to Indonesia’s decentralisation.
- Strong understanding and experience of utilizing data related to fiscal and service delivery outcome, such as SIKD, SUSENAS, and PODES
- Strong knowledge, skills and experiences in basic service delivery in a decentraliseed context is desirable.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Proven ability to deliver high quality outputs on time with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English and well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Good team player.
