through a new partnership with Singapore Public Utility Board (SINGPUB), EAPRO WASH and ADAP team will be supporting 10 young WASH Changemakers from the region to attend the 2020 Young Water Leaders Summit in July in Singapore as part of 2020’ Singapore International Water Week.
Through this programme we aim to connect with, learn from, and support a community of young leaders who are dedicated to improving WASH services for children and their families across East Asia and Pacific. In addition to attending the Summit, the Changemakers will receive 2 online mentoring sessions with a start-up mentor and a 1-day human-centered design workshop with UNICEF and industry leaders to refine their idea and develop their action plans in Singapore.
More information on the requirements and the benefits for the selected youth can be found in the attached flyer and FAQ.
Who can apply? Young water industry professionals aged 21-30 years old who are working on an innovative idea to provide access to safe and sustainable WASH solutions impacting children and their families in the region.
Please help us get the word out! We would appreciate your help to circulate this opportunity widely through your youth, WASH, entrepreneurship and other networks in-country.
Please note the deadline for applications is March 15, 2020.
You can access the application form here.
If you have any questions about the process, please get in touch with Anu at apgautam@unicef.org and Allison at almorris@unicef.org who are coordinating the programme.
