This Request for Proposal (RFP) is a re-publication of the RFP for Part-time Local Environment and Climate Change Advisor and Local Gender Equality Advisor that appeared in local newspaper Kompas on May 28, 2016. The RFP is re-advertised due to amendments in the minimum qualifications for both of the Advisor positions as detailed below.

The Embassy of Canada, Jakarta, seeks to engage the services of a Part-time Local Environment and Climate Change Advisor and a Part-time Local Gender Equality Advisor to provide technical support and advice to the development program of Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD).

Minimum Qualification for Environment and Climate Change Advisor

·         Five (5) years of professional work experience as technical expert or advisor on climate change, environmental sustainability, or sustainable natural resources management related to development.

Minimum Qualification for Gender Equality Advisor

·         Five (5) years of experience related to the development sector, including professional work experience as a technical expert or advisor in gender equality.

Request for Proposal (RFP) documents containing a detailed description of services, deliverables, and terms of reference will be provided via e-mail request only. Interested candidates are requested to send an email to jkrta-da@international.gc.ca quoting “RFP-Environment and Climate Change Advisor” or “RFP-Gender Equality Advisor” in the subject line by 16:00 on Monday, August 22, 2016.

Proposals must be submitted in Word format and must be received by the Canadian Embassy before 16:00 on Monday, August 29, 2016. Your proposal must be sent to an e-mail address that will be provided in the RFP document. Late submissions will not be reviewed.
